Unfinished

Every artist has their own book of unfinished ideas. Whether it was a mad-dash to get the rough sketch of inspiration down before it faded, a beginning that veered off in another direction, or a project that had to be set on the backburner, these loose threads are important to hang on to. 

I share these to give a glimpse into the creative process. Maybe I will pick them back up someday, or perhaps they will inspire an idea of your own.

  • Pushing in a very new direction, I'm very excited by this sound. I've got circus on the brain, I was definitely envisioning this as a stage act. Absolutely keen to put more time into this track when I have a moment.
  • This is a complete track and I find it quite beautiful. I did write this in my early days before I had access to high quality string libraries. I could come back to this, just need a polish and a shine, but the ideas are there.
  • I wanted to turn the classic Beggin' song done by so many artists, including The Four Seasons, Måneskin, and Madcon, into a bangin' big band number. This is intended to be an accompaniment for a singer. It remains unfinished until I have time!
  • This track remains unfinished, but I think there is some powerful orchestral writing on display. I often surprise myself at what software like this is truly capable of.
